Shipping and Returns

Shipping

We're just getting our act together with shipping.  Right now we ship twice a week and you will get an email when the item leaves our shop, but as we get the routine down, we'll be doing it more often (especially when you order something next day).  Right now you only have the option of USPS -- that may change in the future, but we probably won't offer more than one shipping company unless something amazing makes us realize that we'd like to make our lives more complicated.

Returns

Please send an email to support@unvanilla.com with the answers to the following questions:

1. Is this going to be a return or an exchange?

2. What item number(s) and item(s) are you going to be sending back?

3. What is the reason you're sending the items back?

4. What is the first and last name the order is listed under?

5. If this is an exchange, what are the replacement item number(s), item(s) and size(s)?


Be sure to get a Return Authorization number (RA#, or RMA# if referred to by FedEx), you must call or E-mail us BEFORE sending your product back! Returns that are not accompanied by a Return Authorization number will be sent back to the customer. Returns and exchanges take approximately 2-4 weeks for processing. We appreciate your patience.

Depending on the reason for the return, we may issue you a coupon for use in our store as reimbursement for shipping charges incurred when returning items to us.  You may be responsible for additional shipping charges if the return is not because of a defect or a mistake in shipping on our side.

If you live outside the continental United States. You may return the item(s) using any method available. However, we do recommend using a method that can be tracked to avoid lost merchandise.

Additionally, if you do live outside the continental United States, there may be additional fees charged by the Customs offices in your country, once the product has been exchanged and re-shipped to you. Hot Topic will not assume responsibility for these fees, nor can we reimburse you for any fees incurred.
